Dropshipping is a mutually beneficial relationship between you (the seller), the supplier, and your customers.

The supplier has products it wants to sell. You provide a direct-to-consumer outlet for those products via your online store. Your customers get to purchase a product they want.

First, you have to choose a product you’d like to sell and find a dropship supplier for that product. Note: Not all suppliers offer a dropshipping service, but SaleHoo can help you find suppliers that do.

Once you have set up a dropshipping agreement with a supplier, you can build an online store on Shopify, Wordpress, Amazon, eBay or another ecommerce platform to sell your product/s.

When a customer purchases a product from your store (at retail price), your job is done.

The customer’s order is then forwarded to your dropship supplier.

You pay the wholesale price for the product and keep the difference between the retail and wholesale price as profit.

The dropship supplier then ships the product directly to your customer under your business name.

Throughout the whole transaction you don’t have to touch the product. You’re simply acting as a middleman between the supplier and customer.
