How to dropship from Aliexpress?

AliExpress is a massive online marketplace where tens of thousands of suppliers, primarily from China, offer a wide range of products.

Although it’s primarily a business-to-consumer (B2C) platform, many dropshipping store owners use AliExpress to source their products.

Why? Because the products are budget-friendly, and with the right store design and marketing strategy, they can often be resold for a healthy profit margin.

However, while AliExpress can be a viable option for dropshipping, it requires more time and effort compared to SaleHoo Directory or SaleHoo Dropship, but it can be effective when you know what you’re doing.

How to Use AliExpress for Dropshipping

1. Familiarize yourself with the AliExpress platform
Take some time to explore how the marketplace works, including how to navigate product listings and evaluate suppliers.
2. Choose what niche you want to be selling in
Narrow down your focus to a specific market or category of products that you want to sell.
3. Search or browse for products in that niche
Use keywords or browse categories to find potential products that align with your target audience.
4. Create a product shortlist
Compile a list of items that you’re interested in selling.
5. Select your winning product(s)
Decide which products have the best potential for profit and customer demand.
6. Evaluate suppliers
Check each supplier’s positive feedback score—95%+ is typically a good indicator of reliability.
7. Contact the supplier
Reach out to suppliers directly to ask questions and establish a relationship. Click on the store name near the top of the product page, hover over it, and
use the “Contact Now” option to send a message.


8. Set up a dropshipping agreement with the supplier
Discuss terms with the supplier, such as shipping times, return policies, and product quality guarantees.
9. List the product(s) on your online store
Add the selected products to your online store with clear, compelling product descriptions and images.
10. Start selling!
Launch your store and promote your products through effective marketing campaigns.
