How to dropship from Aliexpress?
AliExpress is an online marketplace where tens of thousands of suppliers, mostly from China, list products for sale.
While it’s effectively a business-to-consumer (B2C) website, many dropshipping stores source their product from AliExpress.
That’s because the products are cheap and, with the right store design and marketing, can often be sold for a significant profit.
Dropshipping from AliExpress takes more time and effort than using SaleHoo Directory or SaleHoo Dropship, but it can be effective when you know what you’re doing.
Using AliExpress for dropshipping
1. Take some time to become familiar with the AliExpress platform
2. Choose what niche you want to be selling in
3. Search or browse for products in that niche
4. Make a list of products you’re interested in selling
5. Decide on the product/s you want to sell
6. Check the supplier’s positive feedback score (95%+ is typically a good sign)
7. Contact the supplier. Note: When you click on the product you should find the supplier/store name near the top of the page. Click on that and then when you hover over the store name you’ll have the option to ‘Contact Now’. You can message the supplier directly via AliExpress
8. Set up a dropshipping agreement with the supplier
9. List the product/s on your online store
10. Start selling
That’s a quick overview, but you can read our complete guide to dropshipping with AliExpress here.
